“If the Warkari’s wave their Veenas at Hussain, they will certainly break his head.” – HBP Shivaji Maharaj Puri

An enraged Shivaji Maharaj Puri of Warkari Sect, Pandharpur remarked, "It is unfortunate that Hindus need to be reminded that they are Hindus. That is why people like Hussain dare to draw nude pictures of ShriRam and Seeta. But may he always remember that if the Warkaris who are constantly praising God wave their Veenas at Hussain, they will certainly break his head." He was speaking to Hindu Janjagruti Samiti activists who were present in his Keertan.

"Real happiness does not lie in worldly life but in the Keertan and Bhajan of God. Some people came into power by giving assurances of building Ram Temples, but on coming to power said, "later on". People must recognise such false people."

Almost 1000 people attended the Keertan. H.B.P. Shivaji Maharaj also gave Hindu Janjagruti Samiti activists the permission to speak on Hindutva for 10 minutes.
