Tuljapur (Maharashtra): A person was selling ‘Cross’, usually worn by Christians, in the premises of Sri Bhavanidevi Temple during Navaratri festival. An activist of HJS observed it and stopped such sale.

Nashik (Maharashtra): Hindu students from Don Bosco Secondary School were forced to attend the program related to some Christian Saint named Don Bosco. HJS submitted representation against it to District Education Officer after receiving complaints from Hindu parents.

Nashik (Maharashtra): The ploy of conversion of Hindus on the auspicious day of Ashadhi Ekadashi, by Christian missionaries was foiled by alert Hindus.

One Christian school by name ‘Christi Mission School’ was not given holiday on Ekadashi purposely out of hatred towards Hindu Faith. When the members of HJS came to know about it, they tried to convince the headmaster stating the importance of the Day.

Christian priests, Sandeep M and Isac entered a woman’s house at Sadashivnagar here noticing that she was alone in the house. They started telling her about the importance of praying to Jesus Christ.

Mumbai: A memorandum demanding cancellation of the proposed Anti-Superstitions Act was presented on behalf of HJS to MLAs from Shiv Sena, BJP, MNS, Congress and NCP.

Thane (Maharashtra): Six Christian missionaries were arrested by Palghar Police, who were trying to convert the faith of Hindu tribals, which were given false promises.

Mumbai: Few Christians were breaking the picture-frames of Hindu Deities leading to their denigration so as to deceive Hindus and convert them; but the devout Hindus handed them over to the police.

Kathmandu (Nepal): Nepal's oldest temple, the Pashupatinath shrine revered by Hindus worldwide, is in the eye of a new storm as Christians and Hindus fight it out in court over an ancient forest that belongs to the hallowed shrine.

A Christian missionary told few Hindu women about curing a Hindu through the medium of prayers and medicine in Jalgaon city. He tried to draw these women in his net and to convert them; but as the devout Hindus got the wind of it, they rushed to the place of incident and foiled his plan.

A program called ‘Prajavani’ was organized on the grounds of a school for propagation of a daily periodical in Kannada language. In this program, one Mr. Richard Luis was denigrating Hindu Deities and was stopped by a devout Hindu named Mr. Somshekhar who attended the program.

Maintaining that there was no constitutional right to convert a person from one religion to another, justice P Sathasivan of the Supreme Court on Saturday said the right to propagate one’s religion was not an unrestricted right.

Lasalgaon (Dist. Nashik, Maharashtra): ‘Seventh Day Adventist Higher Secondary School’ had forced Hindu students to collect funds. Many students were misappropriating the collected money. It was stopped after intervention by Hindus.

Thane (Maharashtra): Christian missionaries had organized prayer meeting at two places in the city to convert Hindus. But this ploy was foiled by VHP and Bajarang Dal activists.
