HJS protest for distortion of Indian map: B & R Automation (India) renders unconditional apology October 2, 2006
B & R Automation (India) company for their purpose distorted Indian map. In this map, a portion of Jammu and Kashmir was omitted and even Andaman? Nicobar Islands have not been included. This brochure of the company was being distributed at the exhibition. On getting information about the map, Hindu Janajagruti Samiti (HJS) lodged a complaint with the Police Commissioner as well as started a campaign on its website to protest distortion of Indian map. Thereafter, within an hour, the company sent an apology letter and assured that the brochures with distorted Indian map will be withdrawn and the balance copies will be destroyed.

Controversial poster on Vande Mataram September 6, 2006
AN anonymous poster about why Vande Mataram should not be made compulsory became the center of attraction and controversy on Tuesday morning at M S University. The poster was stuck outside the MSU Faculty of Commerce and caused much consternation among the students and passers-by who read it. It was later torn down by a couple of students.

Historians like Sir Jadunath Sarkar, Dr Indu Bhushan Banerjee, Dr Hari Ram Gupta or Dr Ganda Singh have not mentioned that Guru Tegh Bahadur had converted some Muslims to Sikhism. |
