Warakari brethren and activists of Hindu Janajagruti Samiti (HJS) are, therefore, meeting MLAs from various parties to make them aware towards the anti-Hindu nature of the proposed Act. The delegation of HJS and Warakaris so far met 13 MLAs from Congress and 6 MLAs from NCP. Most of the MLAs have shown their opposition for the said Act.

The proposed anti-superstitions Act being passed by Maharashtra Government will impose ban on religious rituals, customs and traditions; therefore, Warakari Sect, religious citizens, pro-Hindu and Jain organizations strongly oppose this Act. They have also demanded to cancel this Act.

Activists of HJS recently submitted memorandum to Mr. Gopikishanji Bajouria, Shiv Sena MLA and Mr. Govardhan Sharma, MLA of BJP with a demand that the proposed anti-superstitions Act should not be passed in the monsoon session of the State Legislative Assembly.

It was resolved by various pro-Hindu organisations during a press conference held here to jointly oppose the proposed anti-superstitions Act.
