The BJP on saturday condemned Union Minister for Water Resources and state Congress committee president Saifuddin Soz's suggestion of slashing the period of Amarnath yatra from two months to one and limiting the annual number of pilgrims to 75,000.

Jammu (J&K): The 21 member Balidani Jatha which managed to give police a slip at Lakhapur check post and entered Jammu on Monday to submit a memorandum to Governor N N Vohra who protested against Amarnath Land Transfer.
