Hindus have strongly objected to Hindu deities being reportedly referred to as “false idols” on the opening day of the General Assembly of Church of Scotland on May 19 in Edinburgh (United Kingdom).

According to reports, it was stated in Rajya Sabha in India`s capital New Delhi on this issue that the religious feelings of Hindus were being hurt. Is there no manufacturing code there, it was said.

Coca-cola is a popular soft drink brand in india which has denigrated Hindu god in its advertisement called 'Maaza Asur Version 1/2/3'. The advertisement is being broadcasted during IPL matches on various TV channels from last couple of days.

In a programme conducted by the Zee Kannada TV channel called ‘Yamalokadalli prayashchitta' they have denigrated Shri Yamadharmaraja and Shri Chitragupta in a very miserable way.

Recently, the television program ‘Neena Naana’ on Suvarna channel showed disrespect to the Hindu deities, Shri Rama and Shri Krishna. After a strong protest by Hindu Janajagruti Samiti the channel authority made an apology and stopped a denegration through its program 'Neena Naana'

There is disgraceful insult of Hindu Dharma and Saint Dnyaneshwar in a Marathi film named ‘Bokad’, directed by Pravin Karale and produced by ‘Hema Films’. HJS made a demand for cancellation of certificate issued to film ‘Bokad’ !

For the advertisement of ‘Wagh-bakri’ tea, pictures of Shri Ganesha and Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj have been misused. Maharashtra Warakari Mandal and Hindu Janajagruti Samiti (HJS) have registered their protest against this advertisement.

It is very unfortunate that in a country where Hindus are in majority, films denigrating Hindu Deities get awards. How long are Hindus going to tolerate such things?

'Parle' has removed an advt. of its product 'Parle Mango-bite from their website', which was denigrating Shri Hanuman due to sustainable and lawful protest campaign initiated by HJS, which also got support from devout Hindus.
