Mangalore (Karnataka): The political leaders have always neglected to respect the nationalist leaders who fought for the country's independence, Hence the circle being newly-built must be named as 'Chatrapati Shivaji Circle', demanded HJS.

Udupi (Karnataka) :Under the auspicious of HJS a programme was organized in Kadiyali Higher Primpary School of Udupi today to awake patriotism among young genration.

Mumabi: ‘Hindu Get-together Day’ was celebrated on 14 th January at Mumbai, Raigad and Jalgaon on behalf of HJS on the occasion of Makar Sankranti. More than 2500 Hindu Dharmabhimani were present for the function.

Banglaore: Advocates, who were motivated with the discussions with Adv. Ramdas Kesarkar, resolved to work together towards protection of Nation and Dharma.

Satara (Maharashtra): In a meeting of saints from the district held in Satara, a view was expressed that it was necessary for saints to come together and take active part in matters related to protection of Dharma to change the situation.

Mumbai (Maharashtra): The main attraction of the rally was that at many corners enroute, road-shows were arranged depicting pathetic condition of Hindu Dharma.

National flags made of paper and plastic are found strewn all over the roads and even in gutters after national festivals. HJS and Sanatan Sanstha managed to prevent such denigration at a number of places.

Pune (Maharashtra): It began with the member of the HJS Shri. Gopal Bhutkar welcoming the guests on the dais with a coconut and a Sanatan published holy text titled 'The Kashmir Scenario'.

News has been published in some of the newspapers that M F Hussain presently staying in Dubai is likely to visit India. Hindu Janajagruti Samiti (HJS) held demonstrations and demanded arrest of Hussain as soon as he lands in India.

HJS has been strongly undertaking its campaign to protect the Khadkvasla reservoir. In the same way Pune police were to undertake a drive for protecting the water reservoir at Khadkvasla from those who play Holi and later have bath in the water reservoir. Despite appealing police to control misuse of water and save water reservoir, police reached late when the damage was already done.

HJS has undertaken the Mass awareness campaign to curb the malpractices during Holi festival. This campaign receives good response from the Hindus.

The 'Warkari Mahamandal' had recently organised a 'Bhakti-Shakti sangam sohola' i.e. 'confluence of devotion & power' at Satara, Maharashtra. On this occasion HJS had held an exhibition related to the terrorism and killing of Hindus in Bangladesh and Kashmir which impresses the prominent personalities.

During this exhibition many people showed interest in taking part in HJS activities.
