Mangalore (Karnataka): HJS members and devout Hindus protested here against proposed Karnataka Govt.'s Temple Takeover Act

All the temples' and mandiras' administrators and all the members were invited to Ujire's Shri Janardhana Swamy temple to discuss on the harmful effects of nationalising the temples and to decide on the further actions that must be taken with this regard.

Karwar (Karnataka): Protest rally was held here by HJS to protest against the proposed temple take over act by Karnataka Govt.

Hubli (Karnataka): Hindu Janajagruti Samiti will stage a protest demonstration at KC Circle here on Thursday, opposing the government's "interference" in the affairs of Hindu temples.

Udupi (Karnataka): HJS organised press meet as it is going to held a protest on 9 July 2010 against Karnataka Temples Takeover Act.

HJS organized Sabha at Udupi in which resolution passed by devout Hindus oppose Karnataka Temple Take Over act. It was decided to conduct agitation against the act as it is the Right of Hindus.

Bangalore (Karnataka): Hindu Pontiffs from all over India met to discuss the issue of Temple take over by Government. The meeting was also attended by Temple priests, Trustees, Devotees and Cabinet Ministers.
