Respect National Flag

Yeotmal (Maharashtra): HJS submitted memorandum to the District Collector to prevent abuse of National Flags on 26 January i.e. Republic Day

Memorandum demanding ban on sale of plastic national flags to prevent such abuse was submitted by Hindu Janajagruti Samiti (HJS) to the Government administration in North Maharashtra and Vidarbha.

A representation was submitted to senior police inspector, Mr. Suresh Nirmal attached to Pantnagar Police Station, Ghatkopar (East) by Hindu Janajagruti Samiti (HJS) demanding prevention of abuse of National Flag taking place on 26th January

Hindu Janajagruti Samiti (HJS) has undertaken a drive even this year to prevent abuse of National Flags and as a part of this drive, memorandum was submitted to Police Commissioner K. P. Raghuvanshi of Thane

National Flags made of plastic are purchased on 26th January, the Republic Day, which are later found strewn all over the roads and in gutters. This is an abuse of National Flag. Sale of plastic flags should, therefore, be banned. Memorandum with the above demand was submitted by HJS.

HJS submitted representations to District Collector of Mumbai and suburbs; so also to DGP, Maharashtra State for preventing abuse of National Flag occurring on 26th January, Republic Day.

A representation to the above effect was submitted to District Collector Rahul Mahiwal of Amaravati. He promised to pass an order to stop such abuse.

Yavatmal (Maharashtra): on 15th August, Some children from a school here were getting the tri-colour painted on their cheeks. This was stopped after HJS members explained to them about abuse of National Flags.

For the past many years, HJS which is ever ready to protect the Nation and Dharma, has been undertaking a drive to prevent abuse of our National Flags. The drive has been receiving very encouraging response from patriotic citizens.

Mumbai: Dharmashakti Sena, youth branch of HJS organised Human Chain to appeal society to keep the sanctity of National Flag intact. It received huge response from patriotic Indians and youths. More than 250 youth participated in the event.

Memorandums to the government establishments at various places on behalf of the Samiti.

Mapusa (Goa): Hindu Janajagruti Samiti (HJS) recently submitted a memorandum to the Deputy Collector of Bardez, Mr. Dasharath Redkar demanding a serious implementation of the ban on the plastic National Flags.

Thane (Maharashtra): HJS members submitted memorandums to Police and Tehsildar at Thane, Murbad and Badlapur to prevent insult of National Flag. Also HJS members created awareness among shopkeepers regarding National Flag.

Lasalgaon (Maharashtra): Hindu Janajagruti Samiti (HJS) members submitted representation to Police Inspector here to stop abuse of National Flags on the occasion of 15 August.
