Pandharpur (Maharashtra): Sree Vitthal devotees lodge complaint with the police against ‘Pandharpur Temple Committee’ for selling cows to butchers.

A member of Government Vitthal Mandir Committee tried to prevent and intimidated the devout Hindus from explaining the issue of selling of cows to butchers by Mandir Committee.

Vardha (Maharashtra): Assistant Charity Commissioner, Vardha has issued an order to the Temple Trustees that they should take care that incidents like selling of cows to butchers.

Shahapur (Maharashtra): HJS submitted memorandum to Tehsildar against Pandharpur Temple Committee for selling cows to the butchers.

Kalyan (Maharashtra): Hindu Janajagruti Samiti protested against the cows of Pandharpur temple being sold to the butcher and against the proposed anti superstition bill

Panvel (Maharashtra): HJS agitated here against anti-Hindu NCERT Textbooks and Pandharpur Temple Committee for selling cows to the butchers.

Nanded (Maharashtra): The Government’s Vitthal Mandir Samiti has sold cows which were offered by devotees. HJS held agitations in front of District Collector’s office here as the above shocking matter was brought to light.

Amaravati (Maharashtra): It has been decided by Hindu Janajagruti Samiti (HJS) along with other pro-Hindu organizations to stage agitations to protest against the sale of cows to butchers by Sree Vitthal Mandir Samiti at Pandharpur.
