Kolkata (West Bengal ) : Mr. Ramesh Shinde, the spokesperson of Hindu Janajagruti Samiti (HJS) will be in Kolkata from 12 Feb. to 15 Feb. 2012.

Bhiwandi (Maharashtra): On the occasion of ‘Makar-sankranti’, Hindu Janajagruti Samiti (HJS) organized a ‘get-together’ at Parivali. About 60 local residents attended the program.

Erandol (Dist. Jalgaon, Maharashtra) : ‘Vande Mataram Pratishthan’ and Hindu Janajagruti Samiti jointly organized program of ‘Bharatmata-pujan’ and singing of ‘Vande Mataram’ on the occasion of Republic Day.

In the program organized by Pankaj High Secondary School’s Science Department, on the occasion of birth anniversary of Swami Vivekananda as per the Hindu calendar, members HJS were invited. About 125 students attended the program.

It was the first time that on the occasion of ‘Makar-sankranti’, such program was held by HJS and the committees. The program was attended by about 100-150 youth members.

In the hall of Sri Renuka Devi Temple located in Yashodanagar, ‘Haldi-kumkum’ program and ‘Tilgul’ distribution program was organized on 16th January. Matter related to ‘Dharma-shikshan’ and revolutionaries was exhibited by HJS on ‘flex’ boards.

Mumbai : Maharashtra Navnirman Sena’s – women’s wing had organized a lecture by Hindu Janajgruti Samiti’s Mrs. Vidya Kamerkar on the topic of ‘Makar-sankranti and spiritual practice’ for their members at Colaba branch.

Birthday of Mr. Ravindra Kotambkar, the Editor of ‘Dainik Saahasik’ was celebrated on 3rd January. On this occasion, Mr. Tushar Devadhe, his friend from Guru Dronacharya Gymnasium (GDG), organized tree plantation program. Members of Hindu Janajagruti Samiti (HJS) were invited for the said program.

HJS conducted a lecture explaining the significance of Hindu festivals and about its drive named ‘Maintain respect of National Flag’ to students from the night college. 180 students attended the lecture and there was good response from them as well as from the teachers.

‘Hindu Yuva Sanghtan Melawa’ had been organised on behalf of Hindu Janajagruti Samiti (HJS) in order to protect Deities, Nation and Dharma. There was a very good response of youth. 80 devout youth were present on the occasion.

Talented students, who secured the first 3 prizes in the Surajya Quiz Competition held by Hindu Janajagruti Samiti at Shri Ganesh School,Diva.

Panvel : On the day of Datta Jayanti, devotees throng to Datta temple; but it was observed by activists of HJS that many temples were going to remain closed for the devotees due to lunar eclipse on that day.

‘Natpunarvu Kootam’ (Sneha Sammelan) was organised by Hindu Janjagruti Samiti in Chennai on Sunday, 11-12-2011, at 5-30 p.m. at Vivekananda Hall, P.S.Higher Secondary School, Mylapore. The program started with a prayer with bhav.. The important features of Sanatan Prabhat was explained by Ms.Komala Srivatsan.

Mumbai : Hindu Janajagruti Samiti (HJS) and Shiv Sena Branch No. 188 jointly celebrated birth anniversary of Rani Lakshmi Bai according to Hindu calendar at Worli Koliwada.About 65 persons attended the program.

Panvel (Maharashtra) : Hindu Janajagruti Samiti (HJS) organised ‘bal-sanskar’ classes for children in Shri Datta Temple, Kopra. Mrs. Mandhare of HJS guided the children. 35 children took part in this project.
