Reconversion to Hinduism

In a solemn homecoming (paraavartan) programme under the auspices of Vishwa Hindu Parishad on April 10 at Tirunelveli, 200 Christians returned to their mother religion and were given Hindu names.

In a news that awakens, 139 Christians from 34 families returned to Hinduism in a Paravartan Ceremony held at Nalgonda of Andhra Pradesh on Sunday, December 30, 2012.

In an home-coming ceremony organised by VHP, named ,’Paravartan’ nearly 175 practicing Christians returned back to Hinduism at Palakonda of Srikakulam District in Andhra Pradesh.

In the event organized by Vishwa Hindu Parishad (VHP) here on Sunday,Another 10 Muslims converted to Hinduism here in Navjivan Sanskar Dham Temple in Bangur Nagar Goregaon West. It was second such programme organised by VHP in a span of around 2 months where on 17th June in converted 8 Christians & 6 Muslims to Hinduism.

A total of 1,240 converted Christians, including a pastor, returned to Hinduism at a home coming programme organised by the Dharma Jagran Vibhag at Batamul Ashram in Raigarh district of Chhattisgarh.

The first Shuddhi event was held at Shahjahanpur, Uttar Pradesh on 23rd December, 2011 where 1200 embraced Vedic Dharma/ Hinduism. Most of them claimed to be Mohammedans earlier. A few used to call themselves Christians. Now they have resolved to propagate Vedic Dharma.
