Every year, HJS makes an appeal to immerse Sri Ganesh idols in flowing water instead of artificial water tanks. Ganesh-devotees are, therefore, explained the spiritual science behind the same. Such guidance was given by HJS at Shivaji Park (Dadar), Nana – Nani Park, Pestom Sagar (Chembur) and Akurli Mata Mandir [Kandivali (E)] where artificial water tanks have been erected.

Municipal Corporation has erected artificial water tanks for immersion of Sri Ganesh idols. It is, however, necessary as per the ‘Dharmashastra’ that Sri Ganesh idols are immersed in flowing water; therefore, the Municipal Corporation should immediately close down the artificial water tanks.
