Puppets produced by a DUMBO business are no laughing matter — they are an affront to religion, Hindu groups like FHA and Hindu leaders like Rajan Zed charged this week.

The petition to the Penguin Group asks for an apology for the publication of the factually incorrect and offensive book “The Hindus-An Alternative History” by Wendy Doniger. We expect Penguin Group to withdraw the book immediately.

Sojat (Rajasthan): An Ayurvedic company had printed a picture of Lord Ganapati on the cover of its product known as ‘Madhumunakka’. After protest by devout Hindus attending HJS' Dharmashikshan classes, the picture was removed from the Cover.

Upset Hindus have asked for the immediate recall of the toy “Hanuman as plush doll”, calling it “inappropriate, upsetting, and denigrating”.

Sambhajinagar (Maharashtra): Hindu Janajagruti Samiti (HJS) submitted representations to the managers of various local theatres regarding the omission of the part in the Hindi film ‘3 Idiots’ where Lord Hanuman and Hindu Pundit.

Jalgaon (Maharashtra): the Sub-divisional Transport Office denigrated Lord Ganesh by using him in improper way in advertisement. After protest by HJS members, this denigratory picture was removed.

Hyderabad (Andhra Pradesh): Following strong protests and complaint filed by from Hindu organisations, Human Right commission stays award to Anti Hindu Novel on Draupadi written by Y Lakshmi Prasad.

Solapur (Maharashtra): Few devout Hindus, who were inspired with the guidance in Hindu Dharmajagruti Sabha, gave representations in 3 cinema theatres to remove denigratory part in '3 Idiots' movie. So these theatres too removed the objectionable part.

Dhule (Maharashtra): Objectionable denigratory part from the Hindi film ‘Three Idiots’ omitted on advice of HJS at Dhule !

Solapur (Maharashtra): Recently released Hindi film ‘3 Idiots’ is being screened at ‘Prabhat’ and one more theatre. Hindu Janajagruti Samiti (HJS) submitted a representation protesting against the denigration of Lord Hanuman and a priest shown in the said film.

In a short play staged on the occasion of Christmas in a missionary school on the life of Jesus, there was denigration of Hindu Dharma.The news regarding such denigration was published in the local newspapers since then the devout Hindus have started agitation for taking action against the school.

Panvel (Maharashtra): Manager of ‘Rupali’ theatre in Panvel assured to omit the objectionable scenes from the film '3 Idiots' after representation submitted by HJS.

Mumbai: In the recently released film, titled ‘3 Idiots ’, actor Amir Khan has been shown in the attire of Lord Hanuman. HJS submitted a representation with demand to remove denigratory scene, through email and fax to the Central Censor Board.

Sangali (Maharashtra): In Three Idiots movie, there are some scenes which denigrate Lord Hanuman and Pandits. A request was given by HJS to remove this part having denigration to manager of New Pride cinema hall here.

Belgaum (Karnataka): There is denigration of Lord Hanuman in the recently released film ‘Three Idiots’ enacted by actor Amir Khan. After protest by HJS members, 3 theatre managers omitted the objectionable portion.
