In the land where the children of Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj, Sant Tukaram and Sant Gyaneshwar lived, the Law Minister, Mr. Radhakrishna Vikhe Patil, has shown the daring to announce that his Govt. will take over about 2 lakh Hindu temples.

Shri. Premananda Das, the President of Radhakrushna temple of ISKON at Aravade said that nationalization turns out to be, in fact, useless because in any Government office, no staff will do their work sincerely; they are only concerned about the returns. If such people start managing our temples, it will be detrimental to Hindu culture.

The Tamilnadu Brahmin Association (TAMBRAS) has expressed "anguish and anger over the attack on Brahmins particularly temple priests at Thanjavur."

'Dharmajagruti Sabha' has been organized on behalf of Hindu Janajagruti Samiti (HJS) against the proposed anti-Hindu Acts. A delegation of HJS met Shri. Uddhav Thakare to invite him as an honorable speaker in the meeting.

Shri. Satej Patil, a MLA said that the State government has so far not presented such an Act in the Legislative Assembly; but if it does , he assured that the move will be opposed.

On recommendations of the 15th Law Commission, the Maharashtra State is planning to take over Hindu temples. Warkari Mahamandal has warned in a press conference that government’s attempts to pass such anti-Hindu bill would be foiled.
