Jalgaon: At a Satsang held at local Sagar Park, H. H. Asaramji Bapu said that in this country, people blindly follow Western culture. Forgetting our culture and traditions, people celebrate New Year by drinking till mid-night of 31 st December. He appealed to the audience to celebrate New Year only on the 'Gudhipadva' day.

H. H. Asaramji Bapu said further, that there was a change in attitude, thinking, action and conduct of our people due to the influence of Western culture and multinational companies entering our market. Regarding blind faith, he said that members of ANIS doubted the very existence of God. Such people oppose not only worship of Goddess Saraswati, but also display of Her picture in the schools. On the other hand, He gave an example, that one of His devotees who was not good at studies, prayed to Goddess Saraswati and secured very good marks in examinations.
