Pune: The State Government is planning to take over management of all Hindu temples and mutts on recommendations of 15th Law Commission on one hand and pass ‘Black Magic’ Bill to put a check on Hindus in following their customs and performing rituals on the other hand. Hindus revealed their strength in coming together for Dharma-jagruti Sabha and to fight the challenge set before them in the form of the two anti-Hindu Bills.

Government should not compel Hindus to become terrorists: Revered Shri. Sunil Chincholkar
Revered Shri. Sunil Chincholkar, President and Founder of Samartha Vyaaspeeth stated that the Government should not force Hindus to become terrorists. If they become terrorists, it will be very difficult for the Government to control them. President Dr. Abdul Kalaam should give his final nod and confirm terrorist Afzal’s death penalty, before he vacates his office. In the regime of Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj, those who collected ‘tax on pilgrimages’ would be sentenced to death and today, the Government is using 80% of funds collected from temples for financing ‘Haj’ pilgrims’. Today’s meet (Sabha) is a great victory of Hindus. It also has support and participation of Jains and Sikhs.
No freedom-fighter will go to the temple to take a vow if temples are taken over by the Government: Dr. Durgesh Samant
Instead of focusing on the problem of growing terrorism, the Government is more concerned about taking over management of temples. It is paradoxical. Sanatan Hindu Dharma is against blind faith and black magic. To put Hindu faith in a legal frame is a deceit, particularly when saints are there to guide society on the right path in this regard. Why is the Government so indifferent regarding temples destroyed in Kashmir? It must first do something to protect the faith of devotees before providing them with amenities in temples. The Government is privatizing industries as it has failed in running them profitably. How will such a Government protect temples? If temples are taken over by the Government; no freedom-fighter will ever visit one to take a vow. It is time for each one of us to think about what we can do for Dharma not tomorrow or today but NOW! Dharma means God; said Dr. Durgesh Samant, National Spokesperson of HJS.
Hindus have forgotten the teachings of Lord Krishna: Shri. G. C. Asnani
We need not only science but also weapons, to save Hindu Dharma! Only Hindu Dharma is based on universal principles. In Islam and Christianity, there is nothing but terrorism. Communists are out for annihilation of Hindu Dharma. We Hindus are committing a great mistake by forgetting the teachings of Lord Krishna; because wherever there is Yogeshwar Krishna and the great archer (Dhanurdhari), Arjun, there is victory indeed! We need to follow these teachings, said G. C. Asnani, a retired officer from UNO.
If Hindus get angry even once, Bharat will become a Hindu Nation: Shri. Milind Ekbote
Why don’t we get angry when the Government plans to exclude mosques and churches from the purview of proposed Acts to take over management of temples? When Hindus will glare and, fight fiercely against anti-Hindu Acts, the Govt. will know where it really stands. A pastor advertised in Dapodi that one, who prays in church, will get cured of AIDS. This instance does not fit in the definition of blind faith devised by Narendra Dabholkar; but saints like Swami Narendracharyaji Maharaj who are doing something to protect Hindu Dharma irk Dabholkar. We shall not let the Government pass such anti-Hindu Acts in the State of Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj. If Hindus get perturbed even once, Bharat will become a Hindu Nation,. expressed Shri. Milind Ekbote, President of Samasta Hindu Aghadi.
Temples and Dharma are not blind faith: Muni Jagat Shekhar
Only Dharma saves man on his death-bed. Temples and Dharma are not blind faith. Every citizen of this country can make property and construct temples. The Government has no right to take them over. Christians have been converting Hindus under the guise of blind faith. Hindus should put their children in vernacular schools.
‘Nationalization’ means corruption: Mannanur Ravindran
A Temple is a place of worship. If they are taken over by the Government, no ritual will take place in temples. All devotees should be made aware of the anti-Hindu Acts. Trustees should arrange to educate people regarding Dharma. Government politics will end when Hindus unite.
No anti-Hindu Acts will be allowed to be passed in the Legislative Assembly: Girish Bapat
After extracting money from all public sector undertakings and sugar factories, the Government has now turned its evil eye towards temples. It will never realize the sanctity of temples. I will therefore, fight against the proposed ‘Temple Takeover Act’ as a representative of the citizens of Pune. It is the resolve of our party that no anti-Hindu Acts will be allowed to be passed in the Legislative Assembly. Fight between two schools of thought should be fought at the thought level itself and no political power should be used. Hindus should forget about their caste and creed and unite. Only then can we teach the Government a lesson!
We must take arms to protect Dharma: Sardar Kuljeet Singh Chaudhary
We united to fight against the British regime. Now we have to unite to fight against unrighteousness. If someone tries to grab our temple funds, the result will be destruction. Guru Gobind Singh had used His ‘sword’, Sree Krishna His ‘Sudarshan Chakra’, Sree Rama His ‘bow and arrow’ to protect Dharma. We cannot live only with a rosary, but we need to arm ourselves. All of us (Sikhs) are with you in your fight.
Outburst of Hindus will check Government from passing such Acts: Arvind Sawant
The day on which the ‘Black Magic Bill’ was referred to the Reviewing Committee was a day of victory of Hindu unity. Hindus should forget their sects and castes and unite. It is the policy of today’s politicians to divide and rule. As there is a tussle to get power in Government departments, likewise there is competition to get the trusteeship in Government controlled temples. In Pakistan, madarasas are being closed down; whereas in Bharat, they are financed from funds donated by Hindus in temples. Outbreak of Hindus alone can teach this Government a lesson.
Hands of those who takeover Hindu temples will be chopped!: Bhai Bhosale
Hands of those, who takeover Hindu temples without taking over mosques and churches, will be cut off! Although our rulers are Hindus, they are wooing Muslims for votes. They are first to attend ‘iftar’ parties. Laws should be equal for all. There is a need to create a Hindu vote bank to avoid such situations.

Does the government have nothing else to do ?: Sardar Mohindersingh Khandari
When expressing his stand clearly the Sardar representing the Sikh community said, “The Sikh community has always stood by the Hindu religion and temples and protected them even at the cost of their lives. We strongly condemn this bill. Does the government framing such bills have no other work ?”
Tomorrow those taking over temples will send Muslims and Christians to administer it: Nandakishore Ekbote
President of the Bharatiya Sanskrutirakshak Mandal Shri Nandakishore Ekbote expressed his disgust thus, “ Devotees offer money in a temple for that very temple, it is not meant for use by the government elsewhere or for the welfare of other religions. The very people who are taking over our temples today will send Muslims and Christians to administer them tomorrow.”
Why does the government not display its secularism with respect to Muslims and Christians as well ?: Nandakumar Anagal
Shri Nandakumar Anagal, Trustee of the Chatushshrungi Mata Devasthan Nyas said that the government should display its secularism with the Muslims and Christians as well. Why implement one law for Hindus and another for Muslims and Christians, if the government calls itself secular ? In Pune when the Shri Mangirbaba temple was demolished by the Municipality people united and opposed this. As a result the Municipality was compelled to give land for building a new temple. If all Hindus unite in this way then this bill will have to be scrapped. Mr. Anagal assured the HJS that he would always support it in its struggles.
