The denigration of Chattrapati Shivaji Maharaj on Orkut
Pune: The website 'Orkut' of 'Google' company has published pictures of Lord Rama, worshipped by all Hindus and Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj, the Founder of Hindavi Swaraj. Both the pictures indicate perverse mentality of the 'community' started on the website as the denigration has been done by stooping to a very low level. Hindu Janajagruti Samiti (HJS) has therefore, warned the website to immediately withdraw all such 'communities' or else the Government will be responsible for the consequences. HJS has support of many Hindu organizations in this regard.
Shri. Dhanavat, the spokesperson of HJS for Pune district said that the language used for description of the two revered characters is very offensive. It is a grave insult of Lord Rama and Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj. In the recent winter session of State Legislative Assembly held in Nagpur, Shri. Vasant Dawkhare the Deputy Chairman of Legislative Council had ordered the Government to close down 'Orkut'. But no action has been taken. Even the special 'Cyber Cell' started by the police department is sleeping over such offences.
People writing in such deprecating language about Lord Rama and Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj cannot be so ignorant that they are not aware of the supremacy of the two revered personalities. It therefore, indicates a deliberate malevolence on the part of the 'community'. All ardent Hindus have condemned the 'community', matter published on the website and have demanded immediate ban on the website.
HJS condemns 'Orkut'
Jalgaon: In connection with the denigration of Chhatrapati Shivaji, the founder of Hindvi Swaraj and Prabhu Sree Rama worshipped by thousands of Hindus, Hindu Janajagruti Samiti (HJS) held a press conference to make media aware about the same. Very foul language is used by the 'communities' of 'Orkut' by stooping to a very low level. 'Orkut' is a website related to Google search engine.
Recently, such 5 'communities' have been discovered on 'Orkut'. It was informed by HJS in the press conference that HJS strongly condemns all such 'communities' and the matter published by them. It was also informed that a complaint will be lodged with the police in this regard. Even earlier, some derogatory matter was published on 'Orkut' against Shivaji Maharaj and in the recently concluded winter session of the Legislative Assembly, Shri. Vasant Dawakhare, the Deputy Chairman of the Legislative Council had instructed the State Government to bring a ban on 'Orkut'. Even then, the denigration is going on. Members of many Hindu Organizations attended the conference.
