'indiatimes.com' has started a commercial sms (smart message system) facility by the name 'Dating Sutra' to facilitate dating (Obscene behaviour indulged by young girls and boys under the pretext of meeting each other).
In the above referred advertisement, the original picture of Lord Sree Krushna and Gopis has been changed. In place of Sree Krushna, a youth has been shown sending SMS from his mobile phone. This youth is surrounded by Gopis. In the corner of this picture, 'dating sutra' has been printed as per the latest trend among youth.
The said advertisement has been published on the daily TOI, so also the website 'indiatimes.com'. Today, on behalf of the HJS, demonstrations were staged at Mumbai to protest against this advertisement. At this time, the agitators strongly protested against TOI and demanded arrest and severe punishment for the
editor.

HJS' State Spokesperson Shri. Ramesh Shinde clarified that the Gopis' are symbolic of boundless devotion and Lord Shree Krishna is the seat of faith of crores of Hindus. We Hindus cannot tolerate this denigration. Also, 'dating' is a social vice. Those advocating this concept are launching an attack on our culture. Persons
responsible for this issue, detrimental from the social and religious viewpoint, should be severely punished. No legal action has been initiated against painter M.F. Hussain, inspite of scores of complaints and the Court order against him. This encourages such persons having a foul attitude.
The signature campaign launched in this regard received an overwhelming response from the audience. Tomorrow, a complaint consisting of 1,000 signatures is going to be filed with the Azad Maidan police station.
