Devout Hindus present for the Hindu Unification Meet

Lasalgaon (Nashik, Maharashtra): The Hindu unification meet organized by Hindu Janagaurti Samiti (HJS) was attended by about 1000 devout Hindus from Lasalgaon and neighbouring areas. A photo- exhibition showing oppression of Kashmiri Hindus was also held at the venue. Shrikrushna Maharaj Sinnarkar, national ‘keertankar’ and Prof. Pramod Chobhe of HJS addressed the meeting. The members of audience were inspired and raised slogans during the program. Shrikrushna Maharaj Sinnarkar said that it was very unfortunate that Hindus had to be imparted knowledge of Hindu Dharma and people are also responsible for the deteriorating condition of Nation and Dharma.

Prof. Chobhe of HJS talked about denigration of Deities through different media and the attitude to not even protest against such denigration. He explained about the worsening conditions of employment, terrorism, riots, corruption, conversions, denigration of objects of worship and adverse effect of English mediun schools on Hindu culture. The program was compeered by Prof. V. M. Shinde.

Members of Sree Swami Samartha Kendra, Sree Ichhapurti Ganesha Mitra-Mandal, Ashtavinayak Mitra-Mandal, Sanatan Sanstha etc. were working hard in making preparations for the program. Many office bearers, members of various organizations and sampradayas attended the program.
