Does Congress Govt really cares for Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj ?

Ashadh Shuddha Trutiya, Kaliyug Varsha 5112

Hindus, from the following incidents, now, you decide whether the Congress Government in Maharashtra really cares for Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj !

On the occasion of a book published by James Laine

1. Congress politicians keeping mum on insult of Chhtrapati Shivaraya by NCERT : NCERT under the control of the Central Government has published history of oppressive Mughal invaders in 60 pages whereas matter related to Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj is given in only five lines. NCERT has not even published a picture of Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj but has left a blank square in its place. This is a grave insult of Maharaj and all Hindus. It was expected of Congress rulers in Maharashtra to take some action against such insult; but nothing has been done so far. Hindu Janajagruti Samiti (HJS) has been carrying out agitations all over the country on this issue. The State Government of Goa took note of these agitations and replaced the controversial portion from the text book; the Congress Government in Maharashtra did not change it; therefore, how can one accept that the Congress leaders from Maharashtra are honest about preventing insult of Chhatrapati by Laine when they carry on the tradition of only worshipping the shoes of members from Gandhi-Nehru families so as to retain their power?

2. Concern for Afzal Khan of the Congress Government !

2. a. The Court has passed a verdict that the construction carried on Pratapgad is unauthorized; but the Congress Government took no action against the construction. The area of the tomb of Afzal Khan has been expanding day by day.
2. b. It is luminous part of the history that Chhatrapati gutted Afzal Khan; but the Congress Government does not allow to display a picture, at any public place, depicting this historical movement. Shivaji-devotees have to knock the doors of Court for the same and such Shivaji-devotees i.e. patriots are taken into custody.
2. c. The Forest Officer of Satara Mr. Sarfraz Khan has mentioned in an affidavit filed in the Court that Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj deceitfully killed Afzal Khan. The thick-skinned rulers of the Congress took no action against him. Tomorrow, they would dare to even teach this matter as a part of history.
2.d. The Congress Government had decided to withdraw the lesson on Afzal Khan’s slaying from the text books under the leadership of Balasaheb Kher claiming that the lesson hurts sentiments of Muslims. But the historians and Shivaji-devotees started agitations leading to Congress cancelling its decision. Will such Congress rulers, who have so much love for Afzal Khan, honestly do anything to stop insult of Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj?

3. Jawaharlal Nehru referred to Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj as a ‘robber’. Not a single Congressman showed the courage to protest against Nehru. Nehru rendered apology when there was people’s outrage.

4. The Congress rulers did not grant permission to display the banners showing the scene depicting Shahiste Khan’s  fingers being cut off.

5. The Congress Government from Maharashtra has decided to make a code for the incidents from the life of Chhatrapati which can be depicted through banners although every incident in the life of Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj inspires one’s love for the Nation and Dharma.

6. In Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj’s Maharashtra, names like ‘Rajiv Gandhi Udyan’ after a person from Gandhi family can be easily given but it takes years for Shivaji-devotees to fight to name railway station and airport after him.

7. A conspiracy is being hatched to shift the statue of Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj from the Mumbai airport.

8. The Congress Government from Maharashtra has no money to repair the ‘samadhi (memorial)’ of Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj and for many years, it was in a very bad condition.

9. A canopy was fitted by Pujya Sambhajirao Bhide (Guruji) on the statue of Chhhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj at ‘Holicha Maal’ on Raigad but the Government asked him to remove it and has not replaced it yet.

10. The Congress’ Archeology Department in the Central Government had banned celebrations of the Coronation Day of Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj on Raigad but the outrage of Shivaji-devotees forced it to grant permission later.

11.  The Congress Government had opposed even to hoist a saffron flag on Sindhu-durga Fort.

Hindus, the above are a few examples of the thick-skinned rulers in Congress Government insulting Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj. These rulers have insulted Chhatrapati wherever possible. Will such rulers take action against insult of Chhatrapati? Will those, who have love for Afzal Khan rather than for Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj, ever do anything in the interest of Hindus and the Nation?
