Maharshi Samrakshana Samiti protests against humiliation of Hindu Saints and Hindu Organisations

Anakapalli, Vishakhapattnam (Andhra pradesh): A protest meet and rally was held to condemn the attempts to tarnish the image of Hindu Saints and Spiritual Organisations from Nehru circle to Mandal Revenue Office here recently.

HJS spokesperson Mr. Chetan Janardhan addressed the public and mentioned that there is a systematic effort to spoil the image of Hindu Saints like H.H. Dr.Athavale, H.H. Assaram Bapu and H.H. Ramdev Baba. Swami Laxmananand Sarswati was brutally killied in Orissa and Hindus are killed by bomb blasts and are converted by threats etc., were happened. Now another Spiritual Organisation, Sanatan Sanstha is being targeted and attacked by Anti Hindus. He mentioned as to how the Goa Government was bent on banning Sanatan Sanstha under the guise of the Margao Blast incident and also how Goa police filed chapter case against the Sanatan Sanstha's H.H. Dr. Jayant Balaji Athavale who has not stepped out of his room for the past two and half years due to ill health. He has written more than 150 books on spirituality which will provide guidence to the society for comming thousands of years.

He further said that H.H. Asharam Bapu ashram in Gujarat was attacked and damaged and his disciples were beaten up. A case of attempt to Murder has been filed on Saint Asharam Bapu. In recent times the trend is growing stronger to show the Hindu Spiritual Leaders in poor light by implicating them in false cases, he added. The Hindu Society should join together and face the threat, he concluded.

BJP Mandal President Mr. Giri Patnaik, a leading advocte Mr. PSN Murthy, Mr. Yerra shetty Koteshwar Rao from Bajarang Dal were also participated In this Rally and Memorandum was handed over to Mandal Revenue Officer V.Simhadri Rao.
