The Govt. should not take action against temples without consensus of the people

Panaji (Goa): The Government should not take any action on temples and domes without taking people into confidence was the warning given in the Hindu Dharmajagruti Sabha held here yesterday on behalf of Hindu Janajagruti Samiti (HJS) on the historical Azad Maidan. The trustees of different ‘devashthan’ in the State, devotees and devout Hindus came together through the medium of this ‘sabha’. The State Government has declared in a list that 350 ‘Devasthan’ and ‘domes (ghumatya)’ in the State are unauthorized. This was the first time after such declaration that 2000 Hindus came together and warned the Government. HJS has taken up state-wide ‘Devasthan Rakshan Janajgruti’ drive. As a part of this drive, on the issue of ‘protection of Devasthan’, the said ‘sabha’ was organized by HJS.

Dr. Suraj Kanekar of ‘Patanjali Yoga Samiti’, Goa, Mr. Mahesh Mulik of Dharmashakti Sena, Mrs. Shubha Sawant of ‘Ranaragini’, Mr. Ramesh Naik, the former State-chief of Shiv Sena and Mr. Jayesh Thali, the spokesperson of HJS for Goa were some of the dignitaries who shared the dais.

‘Kshatratej’ should be created in every Hindu ! – Mr. Ramesh Naik, former State-chief of Shiv Sena for Goa

The condition of Hindus is pitiable in other countries where they are in minority; but now even in India, in the States where Hindus are in minority, there condition is equally bad. In kahsmir, slogans of ‘Pakistan Zindabad’ are raised, green flag is hoisted on 14th August. In the country that was divided on the basis of Dharma and where Muslims have really no right; but still they are pampered whereas there is demand by Manohar Ajgaonkar from Goa along with some leaders in Maharashtra, to ban organization like Sanatan Sanstha which is creating awareness among Hindus in the Hindu country. Once Hindus are awkened, they will not teach everyone a good lesson. Manohar (Babu) Ajgaonkar, who is advocating that gambling taking place in fairs should not be stopped, is showing his mental bankruptcy.

HJS fight will go on to stop damage to idols ! – Mr. Jayesh Thali, HJS

A ploy is being hatched to demolish the ‘unauthorised’ temples and ‘Ghumatya’ in thie Gomantak land which are the source of ‘chaitanya’ taking a decision of the Supreme Court as base. In the case of Shahabano, despite Supreme Court;’s verdict, the law was amended; but now why the Court verdict is taken as a base? The Supreme Court has suggested that decision should be taken after study of every case; even then why the Government has taken a decision to demolish 360 temples in the State. Why none of the trustees of any temple was taken into confidence. It is out history that our ancestors have protected all our places of worship with their full power. The list declared by the Government now, could have been declared after one year by taking into confidence everyone.
