Lawful resistance of attack on Dharma is duty ! – H. B. P. Rode Maharaj

Akola (Maharashtra): All Saints have taught us that it is one’s duty to protect one’s Nation and Dharma. If there is an attack on our Nation, Dharma and culture, it is our duty to resist such attack lawfully, said National Keertankar H. B. P. Shriram Rode Maharaj in his guidance during the ‘Hindu Dharmajagruti Sabha’ organized by Hindu Janajagruti Samiti (HJS) on Ekveera Grounds. Mr. Ramesh Shinde, the spokesperson of HJS for the States of Maharashtra and Gujarat explained to the audience the present position of various attacks on Hindu Dharma, lack of respect and love towards Dharma among Hindus, Hindus’ indifference towards matters related to Dharma etc. and made an appeal to the people to awaken their strength. Mr. Vinay Panwalkar of ‘Dharmashakti Sena’ and Mrs. Prachi Juvekar of ‘Ranaragini’ also presented their enlightening views on the occasion.

The ‘Sabha’ began with lighting of lamp by H. B. P. Rode Maharaj. The other dignitaries attending the ‘Sabha’ were H. B. P. Eknath Maharaj Dikkar, H. B. P. Tulsidas Maharaj Maharaj Masne, District Dharmacharya and chief PRO of VHP, H. B. P. Girish Maharaj Kulkarni, Mr. Wadhwani from Asaram Bapu Sampradaya, Dr. Diwane of Meherbaba Sampradaya, Mrs. Ingale and Mr. Badoge, municipal councilors of BJP, Mr. Pradip Gurukhude city – PRO of Shiv Sena, Mr. Ghuman, Bajarang Dal, Mr. Dhananjay Giridhar Mahanagar President of Hindu Mahasabha, Dr. Ajay Manohar Upadhyay, Gaytri Parivar, besides Ms. Rajeshwari amma, Balaprasad Dhoot, representatives of a periodical ‘Lok-manch’ etc. Mrs. Ashwini Sarode, a representative of ‘Sanatan Prabhat’ was felicitated on behalf of HJS in the program.

Highlights

1. Akola Municipal Corporation extended support in organization of the ‘sabha’.

2. A follow up meeting of those, who are interested in doing something for Dharma, will be held on 28th April 2010 at 6.30 p.m. at Janorkar Mangal Karyalaya.
