In observance of Earth Hour Save Ram Sethu is inviting all temples, religious & social organizations from across the world to join in performing Deep Daan – Lighting of Diyas as a special homage to Sree Ram Sethu.

We believe this would mark the first time ever that so many groups from across the globe would come together to offer special prayers for Sree Ram Sethu!

Day & time: Saturday, March 27, 8.30PM

Special instructions:

1.   Deep Daan to be performed with prayers, blowing of Shankha and temple bells.

2.   Please select a water body to float the diyas. It could be a lake, river, ocean, pond or a fountain.

3.   If there is no water or outdoor activity is not possible, prayers could be held indoors.

4.   The diyas and diya holders must be natural. Please do not use plastic or any such material that would pollute the environment.

5.   One representative who has good diction and speaks well in English must provide commentary.

6.   The ceremony must be video taped and be of broadcast quality so it may be edited & distributed to various media.

7.   Please send in your videotape to our address shown below.
