Central Home Minister assures to take action if Goa Government sends such proposal

Panaji (Goa): Shantaram Naik, a MP in the Upper House of the Parliament said in a press conference today that whatever Sanatan Sanstha publishes is explosive. This can be used as evidence against the Sanstha to immediately impose a ban so that communal harmony and secularism can be maintained.

Naik said further, “I have met Central Home Minister Chidambaram in this connection. He informed me that the National Investigation machinery has been working in the right direction in case of Margao bomb blast and soon will file cases against the accused. I also discussed with him about imposition of ban on Sanatan. He said that if the State Government sends such proposal for ban, necessary action will be taken.”

Naik accuses State Govt. of procrastinating in imposition of ban on Sanatan

“Many proofs can be gathered due to the explosive writings of Sanatan Sanstha. Only an application from the State Government is necessary. I don’t understand why the State Government is delaying sending such application. It is possible to take action against Sanatan at 3 levels. First is, if Sanatan’s involvement is proved in the Margao bomb blast in the inquiry, action will be taken against the offenders. The inquiry may take some time. The second option is banning the Santha due to its writings and third is to file cases against such writing. (Many Saints and philosophers have praised the frank writing of Sanatan. Even then, Mr. Naik is terming it as explosive and demanding ban ! – Editor SP)

Sanatan Sanstha has made an appeal to people in ‘Sanatan Prabhat’ to become naxalites, ‘become extremists’. (No such appeal has ever been made in ‘Sanatan Prabhat’ to become ‘terrorists’. ‘Sanatan Prabhat’ has time and again explained about its open appeal to become naxalite. Even then the opponents are always twisting the matter. We once again publish the appeal for information of the readers under the heading ‘Truth behind Sanatan – haters misguidance’ ! – Editor SP) It is possible to take journalists and social workers as witnesses against Sanatan. I have discussed the matter with the Chief Minister Digambar Kamat and Home Minister Ravi Naik. I really wonder why the State Government is taking so long to take action against Sanatan. The State Government should have earlier taken action but at least now, I am sure that it would think about my views in the matter, said Naik.

Sanatan Santsha is more fanatic and bigger organization than Muslim organizations, therefore, no ban would be demanded on Muslim organizations

It will not be proper to ban other Muslim organizations active in the State along with Sanatan as Sanatan is more extremist and bigger organization than other Muslim organizations. (‘Jihadi’ terrorist organizations are carrying out their terrorist activities all over the country whereas a small organization like Sanatan is engaged in activities for the welfare of Nation and Dharma; but Naik feels that instead of anti-national organizations, a patriotic and righteous organization like Sanatan should be banned. The wise citizens should understand the politics behind his concern! – Editor SP)

Sanatan has 5 international branches; two branches are in India at Ramnathi and Panvel. “I feel that only Sanatan Sanstha is dangerous from the viewpoint of social harmony and secularism in the State,” said Naik while replying to a question. To the question that is it not injustice to Sanatan Sanstha to demand a ban, Naik said, “I have not undertaken a thorough study of the Sanstha but I feel it is a danger to social harmony and secularism. (Without studying the activities of Sanatan, Naik is demanding ban which proves that it is only for kowtowing of Muslims ! – Editor SP) I know that the activities of the Sanstha will continue despite ban, therefore, I am not of the opinion that ban should not be imposed. Imposition of ban is a long process. First, one has to collect evidence and only then, ban can be imposed. Later, an arbitrator has to be appointed for hearing and if he takes a decision in favour of ban, ban can be imposed.”

“Why such eagerness to impose ban even before inquiry is complete?" – Mr. Veerendra Marathe, Management Trustee, Sanatan Sanstha

It is only out of hatred that demand to impose ban on Sanatan is being made. According to Congress MP Shantaram Naik, the Government is conducting inquiry at 3 levels viz. Margao bomb blast, Sanatan’s writings and activities. Before the inquiry is complete, MP Naik is bringing pressure on the State Government which is an unnecessary interference in the inquiry. We are sure that Sanatan Sanstha is innocent in Margao bomb blast case. But owing to such bias of Congress leaders, there is possibility of imposition of ban despite Sanatan’s non-involvement. The people should realize the Machiavellianism of the Rulers, out of their hatred for Hindus, to eliminate Sanatan Sanstha and they should stand firmly behind the Sanstha.
