New Delhi: Home minister P Chidambaram on Friday disregarded the objection of Kuwaiti ambassador Sami Al Sulaiman to justify the use of "jihadi terrorism" for Pakistan-backed terror groups and al-Qaida.
The home minister said people opposed to terrorism were constrained to use the term since jihad is invoked by several terror groups.
"I find that Hafiz Saeed uses the word in every speech that he makes. He made three speeches last month. In every speech, he used the word jihad. I find that al-Qaida leaders use the word jihad. I find LeT leaders using the word jihad. We have voice transcripts of attackers of Mumbai and their handlers using the word jihad. So, for the wrong reason perhaps and unfortunately when terrorists use the word jihad, those who oppose terrorism are forced to use the word jihad," he said.

At last the truth had to come out, at least partially. A day will surely come when he and all congressmen will realize their folly and start saying it is "okay" to say "islamic" terrorism. And I think the day is not very far away.

Hindus,Jains,Sikhs,Buddhists,Jews and Christians are not using violence in the name of religion. Only Muslims, on their Allah's orders are waging Jihad against non-believers. So there should be no objection by anyone if it is called that. Allah has ordered every Muslim to wage Jihad until the whole world accepts Islam. Islamic terrorism is an alternative term.

Even if the whole world accepts not Islam, but Wahhabi/Salafi Radical Islam, they will then fight among themselves. Examples are West and East Pakistan, Pakistani atrocities on Baloch and Khudai Khidmatgars, and the present Talibani and Al Qaeda strikes in Pakistan. Both are samw Sunni Wahhabi/Salafi cult observers.
Be content with this unrestful world in the name of Islam. Am I wrong, when I forcast the WW III in the near future. Religion will be the cause of next WW III. You can not stop it. Because both sides are adamant.
