MLA tenders apology for beating up HJS members

Mumbai: Few workers of a pro-Hindu party yesterday brutally beat up members of Hindu Janajagruti Samiti (HJS). A MLA of this party has now tendered apology for the same.

On 28th February, HJS has organized a ‘Dharmajagruti Sabha’ in a village. In the invitation card printed for this ‘sabha’, name of the local MLA was not included and therefore, the workers of this party had severely beaten up 5 HJS members who were advertising for the ‘sabha’. In fact, the concerned MLA was contacted a number of times over phone by the HJS members and he had instructed them not to include his name on the invitation card. Accordingly, his name was not included. After this incident, the MLA was informed about the same by HJS members when the MLA tendered apology and made an appeal to continue their advertising.

A meeting of HJS members, its well-wishers, representatives of the Party and devout Hindus was held later in which the personal secretary of this MLA openly tendered apology for the incident. The following resolutions were also passed in the said meeting.
1. The MLA will ask his supporters and citizens from his constituency to extend help in organizing the ‘sabha’ without any resistance.
2. The MLA will give an advertisement in the newspaper supporting HJS welcoming holding of the ‘sabha’.
3. The MLA will attend the ‘sabha’.
4. In case of any untoward incident taking place later, the MLA will own its responsibility.

Supporters of a MLA attack HJS activists, 5 injured

Mumbai: HJS had organised a Hindu Dharmajagruti Sabha in a village on 28th  February. The invitation pamphlet of the Sabha did not state the name of the local MLA and so supporters of this MLA brutally attacked activists of HJS who were distributing pamphlets. (Everyday there are so many attacks on Hindu Dharma and the Nation. Are supporters of the MLA Hindus, who attacked HJS activists, working for the welfare of Hindu Dharma and the Nation? If Hindus start a war with Hindus, then how will the unity of Hindus be possible? – Editor SP) The HJS activists started bleeding from the nose and mouth. Three of HJS activists were admitted into Hospital. After launching an FIR about this incident at the local Police station, the Police took down the statements of HJS activists in this regard.
 
HJS activists came into this village at 11 AM in a four wheeler for Prasar of the Sabha and they started to distribute pamphlets with invitations to the Sabha. At this time, a supporter of a local MLA told HJS activists to come to the place where other supporters of the MLA were gathered together.

When HJS activists went there, supporters of the MLA asked why the name of the MLA was not included in the invitation pamphlet of the Sabha. Then HJS activists answered, “When we contacted the MLA to include his name in the invitation pamphlet, he told us not to include his name. So we have not included the name of MLA in the invitation pamphlet.” Then supporters of the MLA took a strong stand saying that the name of the MLA should have been included in the invitation pamphlet. (This is an example of how activists of political parties are goons by nature ! What kind of politics is this where the supporters of the MLA are not in agreement with their MLA? Can a political party having such supporters, do something for Hindu Dharma and the Nation? – Editor SP) Then supporters of the MLA asked to remove the speakers on the four wheelers of the HJS activists. When HJS activists refused to do so, 40-50 supporters started to beat them. The MLA’s supporters were not in the state of listening to anything. Supporters also told HJS activists ‘We will not allow you to have a Dharmasabha in this village’ and asked them to leave the village. While going from the place, supporters of the MLA stoned the vehicle of HJS activists. Injured activists were taken into hospital. (Are we living in Bharat or Pakistan? How can such supporters of a political party be termed as ‘Human’, who gave such treatment to HJS activists who are working for the welfare of Hindus and Dharma even at their own expense ? – Editor SP)
