Kolkata: Yoga guru Swami Ramdev today wished if his skills could weed out corruption in the country.

According to him, emergence of Naxalites and Maoists is the "result of non-development in many parts of the country".

"The GDP could be increased six-fold if black money, stashed away abroad and within the country, was made white," Ramdev told a conference of HR professionals here.

"Corruption is the bane of the country. I wish I can used my yoga to weed out corruption in the country," he said.

"When there is no development, problems like Naxalites, Maoists and poverty arise," he said, adding it was a matter of shame that India ranked 134th in the Human Development Report.
