This is nothing but the denigration of Lord Krushna, who is beloved deity of Billions of Hindus worldwide. All Hindus should protest lawfully against construction of Valentine Temple and Mr R Jagannath, who is mastermind behind this temple !
Chennai: Greeting cards and red roses are what one usually associates with Valentine’s Day. But couples in love will soon have something else to look forward to — a temple where they can seek the blessings of, who else, Lord Krishna, the symbol of eternal love.
“Lord Krishna is believed to have had about 16,000 wives. Every day was Valentine’s Day for him,” says R Jaganaath of the Chennai-based Gokulalakshmi Trust, which is constructing a Valentine’s Sri Krishna temple at Sholingur in Vellore district, around 90km from Chennai.
The temple, a brainchild of Jaganaath, is expected to be ready by April-end. “About 60% of the construction is already over,” he says. “People normally associate Valentine’s Day with greeting cards, but I wish to bring the element of devotion also into it. It can be about Krishna’s love for his devotees and their love for the lord.”
Jaganaath says that the temple is meant especially for couples in love. “Any form of love is divine; I am sure the lord will only bless couples who come here.”
HJS protested against nude painting of Bharatmata (Mother India) by MF Hussain. The painting was auctioned publically by Nafisa Ali for 80 Lakhs resulting in huge protests all over India. Read more

No One has right to imagine anything and do according to that which can hurt crores of Hindus devotion. Mr. Jagannath Pls. go through the vedas and holy books only then u can dare to think like this.

Let's not blame Jagannath for this.. This is our doing , we are the one to be blamed squarely,. We Hindus have lot's of false Ego and we never Unite, and we always be at the receiving end,and when such incidents happens we make a Hue&Cry for a while and forget about it and wait for another such incident to happen. Muslims are far better than us, they Unite and no one dare insult their sentiments,. We are far worse than Kumbhkarana, atleast he used to be awake for 6 months, be we are much bigger kumbhkarna, never to be awakened,.Unless and Until we Unite, our 33 crores Devatas will not Save us..We can Help Ourself be Uniting..

What the lord did in anandamaya kosha, should not be compared with normal love. He did that rasa leela for 500 crore years by going beyond sun's time limit.

This is highly deplorable. Krishna never had so many wives. Valentine has nothing to do with the Vedic philosophy. Mr. Jaganath should read Bhagavad Gita properly before proceeding further.

We dont need a MF Hussain to denigrate Hindus or Hindu Gods. Persons like Jagannath are enough. He is trying to cash in on love by making the place private spot for couples to meet in the name of God so that he can make splendid money out of it. soon that place will become congregation of lvoers and they will get into all sorts of clandestine activities and he will be arrested for facilitating pimp work and he will pull Hinduism and Krishna into it and it will become a field day for Christians and muslims and atheists who are waiting to pounce upon us. Hinduism is not against love, though elders dont approve it for social security reasons. but works of this sort show his perversity.
