Hindu Dharmajagruti Sabha held successfully in Kilpauk, Chennai

Kilpauk, Chennai: The second Dharma Sabha in Chennai was held at  Bharatiya Vidya Bhavans Rajaji Vidyashram, Kilpauk  on 3rd January, 2010 . This sabha was attended by 300 devout Hindus.

The Sabha was inaugurated by blowing the conch followed by recitation of Vedamantra by Mr. Mani Sastrigal and group and lighting an oil lamp by the dignitaries.

Mr. Manianji talked about influence of western culture by citing the examples of important incidences.

Mr. Prabhakaran gave an introduction of the work being done by Hindu Janajagruti Samiti. Mr. Uma Ravichandran explained present state of Hindu Dharma and Nation, and the various remedial actions taken up by the Samiti in this regard.

Mr. Sundaram spoke on the issue of conversion, secularism and strongly criticised politician’s stunted secularist policy which is nothing but minority appeasement.

Mr Arjun Sampath highlighted the issue of terrorism. He explained in detail the atrocities happening in Tamil nadu, how the Hindu devout Hindus are victimised He also extended his support to Samiti’s mission in TamilNadu.

Swami Jyothirmayananda

He stressed on the strong need of creating mass awareness and awakening about Hindu Dharma. He praised the endeavours of Hindu Janajagruti Samiti in this regard and requested everyone to extend their support by participating in the activities of Hindu Janajagruti Samiti.

Swami Jyotirmayananda hails from South Kanara, Karnataka.  He took his Mantra Diksha in 1966 and took to monastic life independently from 1976. His Magnum Opus is his book entitled, ‘ Vivekananda – His Gospel of man-making’, which has seen repeated editions.  He has decorated many a conference abroad on spirituality in general and Hindu Dharma in particular.  He can be reached at swamijyothi@vivekanandagospel.com
  
This Sabha was compered by Mrs. Srividya Bharadwaj and Master Ganesh Shetti and finally concluded with Vande Mataram sung by MissVarsha Ravichandran.

Other Highlights

1. A follow up meeting was conducted immediately after the conclusion of the sabha around 35 Hindus stayed back and to extend their support and  participate in future activities of Hindu Janajagruti Samiti.

2. Mr. Arjun Sampath, President, Hindu Makkal Katchi actively attended the post dharma sabha meeting and remained at the venue there till the end. He expressed that such types of sabhas should be conducted at more places in Tamilnadu and promised to arrange for vehicles, have the stay arrangements for samiti activists the spreading the message in the society told that this type of sabha. He also assured to get more man power for conducting the activities.

3. Two Devout Hindus who used to visit Hindu Janajagruti’s website actively participated in the activities at the venue till 12:00 AM midnight after the sabha.

4. Even a driver who dropped the activists of Hindu Janajagruti Samiti felt inspired to participate in activities and expressed gratitude for getting an opportunity to help in such a noble mission.

2nd meet of Hindu Janajagruti Samiti at chennai a good news. The Samithi should have local small groups so that the main conference annauly two or three in chennai can make more effective to reach a very big Mass. Little drops of water makes ocean. Hope this samithi will arrange small local groups in and around chennai, educating them well about the purpose and its activities. Hope an attempt for the same may be in the mind of Chennai personals who presently taking care of this dharmic venture. Let us hope the Dharmic fire in the hindus of chennai get kindled well to destroy the plot of Missionary brokers. and also let it very help full to reach the dharmic knowledge to all. JAI HIND
