Kalyan: Hindu Janajagruti Samiti (HJS) will be holding ‘Dharma-jagruti Sabha’ on 12th December at Yashwantrao Sports Complex in Kalyan (West). The purpose of the meeting is to dispel ignorance of Hindus towards their Dharma, to guide them in following ‘Dharmacharan’ and to unite them for protection of Nation and Dharma. In this background, a rally was organised by HJS for making people aware about the ‘Dharma-sabha’. About 175 devout Hindus participated in the rally.

The rally began from Sree Ganpati Mandir in Lal Chowki with breaking of Sreephal (coconut) by Mr. Bal Hardas, a senior leader of Shiv Sena followed with performing ‘puja’ of the ‘Dharma-dhvaj’ by Mr. And Mrs. Mahajan under the guidance of Mr. Rajendra Kulkarni, the priest. The rally was later taken in a very disciplined manner through different areas like Tilak Chowk, Shivaji Chowk, Sahajanand Chowk, Rambaug Lane No. 4, Murbad Marg etc. extending invitation to people for attending the proposed ‘Dharma-jagruti Sabha’. The rally concluded at Namdeo Road with singing of ‘Vande Mataram’. Pujya Milake Maharaj also joined the rally for some time holding ‘Dharma-dhvaj’ in his hand.
Mrs. Manisha Kshirsagar of ‘Ranaragini’ and Mr. Ajay Sambhus, the district coordinator of HJS for Thane addressed the gathering.

Feedback

  • Milake Maharaj, Kalyan : Today, everybody needs to understand the significance of Dharma, culture and our traditions to follow ‘Dharmacharan’.
  • Mr. Bal Hardas, Shiv Sena : The condition of Hindu Dharma is very bad. All should, therefore, forget their sects and parties and come together. The youth especially should attend such programs in large numbers.
  • Mr. Shashikant Averkar, BJP city-president, Kalyan (East): Everybody must take out time to come together for protection of Hindu Dharma. One should have respect towards one’s Nation and Dharma and join the activities related to Dharma-karya.
