To forgive is divine. Can we forgive or are there constraints/restraints in forgiving? When one reads the Bible, and particularly Luke chapter 23, verse 34, Jesus said at the time of crucifixion, “Father forgive them for they know not what they do.”

In 2000 years our thinking has changed and we are more on the punishment side. We go back into the motive/intention of the perpetrators of the crime, but in this context we should find out who the brain behind is. N V Ghodse assassinated Mahatma Gandhi, but he was only an instrument, the brain behind was Apte who too was hanged.

Instead of torture by ECT of the persons apprehended on suspicion in the Margao blast, it would be better if we treat them more humanely, as in all likelihood, the cat would be out of the bag. I know for a fact that what is written in the papers is absolutely false. Papers say the persons sitting before the computers are not professionals but are being trained at the ashram.

The Ashram is doing yeomen service viz spiritual service at their end and the SIT are doing their job with integrity and honesty. The Sanathan Sanstha also publishes more than 125 holy texts in 12 languages. These texts give answers to the ‘why’ and ‘how’ of spirituality and a scientific insight into the subtle topics. The ashram also believes in the importance and benefits of chanting which helps a spiritualist in alleviating physical and psychological ailments, increasing concentration, reducing sorrow, nullifying all sins. Chanting ends in God realisation. Finally enough is enough.
