Chinchwad (Maharashtra):The 16th branch of Hindu Rashtra Sena (HRS) in Pune district was inaugurated at Chinchwade Nagar, Chinchwad, District Pune on 24th November, 2009 (Shiv Pratap Din) with great fanfare by Mr. Dhananjay (Bhai) Desai, Tthe founder President of Hindu Rashtra Sena (HRS).

The arrival of Mr. Desai was greeted with bursting of crackers. The program began with lighting of holy lamp as per Hindu tradition (deep prajvalan) at the hands of Mr. Desai. Mr. Desai was welcomed by presenting him the Bhavani Sword. Around 500 persons (all youth) were present for the function.

In his speech Mr. Desai asked all the Hindus to come together forgetting their caste, state and class differences. He spoke against the fatwa of Darul Ulum against Vande Mataram, Minority Appeasement, Sachar Samiti, Bangladeshi & Pakistani Infiltration, Conversion of Hindus to other Religions especially Christianity, Love Jihad etc.

He strongly criticized MNS (Maharashtra Navnirman Sena) for splitting the Hindus on the basis of language and working instead for the minorities.He also encouraged all the politicians cutting across political lines to work for the Hindutva cause not forgetting that they too are Hindus. He also cautioned the Govt against bringing a ban on Sanatan Sanstha.

Mr. Bhagwan Valhekar – Pimpri Chinchwad City Chief, Shiv Sena and Mr. Sanjeev Gaud – Bajrang Dal President, North India (Ghaziabad) also delivered their speeches. Shahir Yogesh presented a powada on the killing of Afzalkhan by Chatrapati Shivaji Maharaj. The other dignitaries present were Mr. Namdev Dhake (BJP), Mr. Moreshwar Shedge (BJP Yuva Morcha), Mr. Sameer Darekar (Abhinav Nirman Pratishthan) and HRS office bearers like Mr. Ankush Gaikwad, Mr. Shailesh Dhumal, Mr. Mayur Chinchwade, Mr. Prakash Dhumal, Mr. Yogesh Naik, Mr. Akahay Bhawsar etc. Several HRS office bearers had come to the program from several places of Maharashtra like Latur, Bhiwandi, Malegaon, Nashik etc.

The HRS activists gave several slogans like Bharat Mata ki Jai, Vande Matram, Hindi Rashtra Senecha Cha Vijay Aso, Yuva Hindu Hriday Samrat Mr. Dhananjay (Bhai) Desai Agei Badho.

The program ended with Vande Matram.

Hindu Rashtra Sena is going on a very aggressive branch opening program and is growing extremely fast.
