Mumbai: Maharashtra’s Home minister R .R Patil gave an interview to ‘IBN Lokmat’ in which he stated that, "Few people from ‘Sanatan Prabhat’ have been involved in the Margaon blast which happened before Diwali evening. (Till date it is not proved at all that Sanatan Prabhat, which is a newspaper, is connected to the blast in any manner. So far, the people arrested are seekers of Sanatan Sanstha – Editor DSP) Goa government will get full support from us about this incident. Maharashtra police will weed out those who possess explosives, carry out explosions, kill the innocent people and all those who are in some way connected to them.  The Maharashtra police will scan such people thoroughly".

Dilip Mangaonkar gets imprisonment for 7 days

Police spokesperson and chief of Special Investigation Unit, Atmaram Deshpande spoke at a press conference that Dilip Mangaonkar from Dicholi who was arrested on the suspicion of participating in planting explosives at Panaji – Sankwal, Goa was given 7 days of imprisonment. Mr Dilip Mangaonkar was arrested yesterday morning. He does the seva of giving self defence training at Sanatan’s self-defence training centre at Dhamse ashram. Deshpande further said that Mr. Mangaonkar works in a chemical company.
