Belgaum (Karnataka): ‘Jamaat-E-Ulema-Hind’ a Muslim organisation has issued a fatwa against singing ‘Vande Mataram’ by the Muslims. In order to protest against this Anti-National fatwa, Hindu Janajagruti Samiti appealed to the Chief Minister of Karnataka, Mr. B.S Yediyurappa. In this appeal, it was mentioned that the government should make ‘Vande Mataram’ obligatory. It should be sung with entire 5 stanzas and stringent action must be taken against those who insult the National song.
