The word ‘Hindu’ is so strong that it can overturn the world – Mr. Ashok Patil

Mumbai: Muslim children are quite staunch about their religion even at young age. If a doctor injects a Muslim, he will call for ‘Allah’. Hindus, however, are teaching their children to call their parents as ‘Mummy- Papa’ instead of ‘Aai-Baba’. It is very unfortunate that in the past 60 years not a single political party has discussed issues related to oppression of Hindus in either the Upper House of Parliament or the Lower House. Hindus should, therefore, leave aside their caste-creed, sects, party etc. and come together only as a Hindu for the protection of Hindu Dharma. There is so much of strength in the word ‘Hindu’ that if he gets united, he can overturn the world. The above statement was made by Mr. Ashok Patil of Shiv Sena in the ‘Dharma-jagruti Sabha’ organised by Hindu Janajagruti Samiti (HJS) at Navjeevan High School’s Hall, Bhandup (W).

The ‘Dharma-sabha’ started with recitation of ‘Veda-mantras’ by Mr. Nana Joshi Guruji and Mr. Rohit Kulkarni Guruji of Renukaprasad Vedpathashala followed with lighting of lamp by Mr. Patil.

Mr. Satish Kocharekar of Dharma-shakti Sena said on the occasion that since Hindus had no love for their Dharma and their brethren, they did not come together. It was, therefore, necessary to get ‘Dharma-shikshan’ to create such love among Hindus.

Mrs. Janhavi Bhardike of ‘Ranaragini’ said that the problem of ‘love jihad’ is faced by Hindu women not only in the States like Karnataka, Bihar, Kerala, Madhya Pradesh, Rajasthan but also in Maharashtra. Hindu young girls are falling prey to Muslims’ ploy. We need to be alert.

Dr. Uday Dhuri of HJS said that every Hindu must revere his Dharma and follow on the path as prescribed by Dharma in his daily life. HJS has been educating Hindus for the past few years in matters related to Dharma and emphasising the importance of ‘Dharma-palan’.

Mr. Satish Sonar talked about the activities of HJS in the beginning of the meeting and Mrs. Raghavi Konekar and Miss Prajakta Tandel were the compeers of the meeting which was attended by more than 550 devout Hindus. The eminent personalities who attended the meeting were Mrs. Snehalata Dalvi and Mrs. Meenakshi Patil, the municipal councillors of Shiv Sena, Mr. Damodar Raorane, Shakha-chief of Shiv Sena, Mr. Shashikant Sawant, former Shakha-pramukh and Mr. Pravin Dahitul, secretary of Akhil Bhandup Warakari Mandal.
