Dharmaprasar by Sanatan Sanstha and HJS

Ujjain : On 20th April, Shri Panchayati Bada Udaseen Akhara took out a huge procession with Sadhus sitting on horses, elephants and camels. Devotees crowded both the sides of the road to see the procession. Sanatan Sanstha and Hindu Janajagruti Samiti (HJS) displayed banners en route to welcome the procession. At the end of the procession, Sanatan Sanstha and HJS took out a rally for Dharmaprasar. Ujjain’s temperature was 39 degrees Celsius but in such hot sun also, women were coming to have ‘darshan’ of Sadhus and Saints.
On 20th April at 11 a.m., the procession was started from Indore Road. Flowers were showered on the procession at various places in Ujjain city. Mahant Mahamandaleshwar Maheshwardasji Maharaj of Shri Panchayati Bada Udaseen Nirvani Akhara, Mahamandaleshwar Dr. Binduji Maharaj, other Mahamandaleshwars, Saints and Mahants were walking in the procession whereas idols of Bhagavan Ganesh, Shri Durgadevi, Shri Vishnu, Shiva and Shri Chandradev Bhagavan were kept on chariot taking out huge procession. In processions taken out by other akharas, sadhus- Saints sit in chariot decorated with flowers. A group of women-dancers from Gujarat and other squads taking part in outdoor sports also joined the procession.

Sanatan Sanstha’s seekers and activists of HJS joined the procession as a part of Dharmaprasar. They were holding boards welcoming Saints and Sadhus. The boards were drawing attention of devotees. Slogans were raised on the occasion. Madhya Pradesh police also joined in raising slogans of ‘Har Har Mahadev’.

Highlights

1. Hundreds of men and women were standing on both the sides of the road of procession to have ‘darshan’ of Sadhus- Saints and see the procession.

2. Many people provided water, fruit-juice and coconut water to devotees en route of the procession.

3. Large number of police force was deployed on the route of the procession.
