Allahabad:
VHP today lashed out at Jamiat Ulama-e-Hind for adopting a resolution asking Muslims not to recite 'Vande Mataram', and demanded a public apology from Union Home Minister P Chidambaram for "keeping silent despite the anti-national pronouncement being made in his presence".

The saffron outfit termed as "anti-national" the resolution adopted during an Islamic seminary at Deoband in Uttar Pradesh yesterday.

"This (the resolution) has once again exposed the anti-national character of the Jamiat Ulama-e-Hind," VHP general secretary Praveen Togadia told PTI from Varanasi.

The firebrand leader said the Union Home Minister P Chidambaram must apologise to people for his presence in the function where the resolution was passed.

"Union Home Minister Chidambaram must tender a public apology for having let down the nation and particularly the Hindus," Togadia said.

Yes, Home minister should apologise for keeping mum on such a fatwa,
Its really shocking and dissapointing to see such people who don't dare to oppose such a harsh statement, are at the Home Minister's post.

What can we expect from the corrupt and communal congies? They have adopted the 'divide and rule' policy of the British, which is why the so-called minority muslims are behaving like aliens in their motherland? So let them be given a choice of emigrating to Pak or B'desh, which was given to them on their demand for a muslim land.As for pseudo-seculars like PC, they should be boycotted for treachery to Mother India and Hindus, if he does not apologise.
