Advertisement denigrating Goddess Durga withdrawn by ‘Hero Honda’ company

Devout Hindus must express gratitude at the feet of God for this success

Pune (Maharashtra): For promoting the sales of its two-wheelers, Hero Honda Company published an advertisement denigrating Goddess Durga that too during Navaratri. But the issue was taken up by Hindu Janajagruti Samiti (HJS) with the management of the Company and the advertisement has since been withdrawn. In many newspapers published throughout the country including Pune, Hero Honda Company had published a denigrating advertisement which had hurt religious sentiments of thousands of devotees of Sree Durga Devi.

As HJS member noticed this advertisement, Mr. Sunil Ghanavat, the district-coordinator of HJS and Mr. Hemant Borkar of BJP Yuva Morcha immediately contacted the management of the company and explained to Mr. Gurjeet Singh about the denigration of the Goddess taking place through its advertisement. Mr. Singh accepted the mistake and said, “It was not the intention of the company to hurt feelings of anyone. But if it has unknowingly happened, we render an apology to all the devotees of the Goddess and assure that henceforth, such types of advertisements would not be published.” Accordingly, Mr. Singh has, today, withdrawn the picture of Sree Durga Devi from the controversial advertisement.

Jai mata di to all
Shaktism has inspired great works of Sanskrit literature and Hindu philosophy, and it continues to strongly influence popular Hinduism today. Shaktism is practiced throughout the Indian subcontinent and beyond, in countless forms, both Tantric and non-Tantric;The practice of Shaktism is no longer confined to South Asia. Traditional Shakta temples have sprung up across Southeast Asia, the Americas, Europe, Australia and elsewhere – some enthusiastically attended by non-Indian as well as Indian diaspora Hindus.
hence her denegration may
be COSTLY
