September 24, 2009

Ashwin Shukla Shashthi, Kaliyug Varsha 5111

Recently the website www.tantrictourists.com displayed a video showing distorted/customised pictures of our Hindu Religion Gods - Shri Ram Bhagwan ji, and Shri Shiv Shankar ji. In oppose to this  Hindu Janajagruti Samiti demanded them to remove the denigrated pictures from the site and also suggested them to use the saatvik pictures of the Hindu Gods from the links provided by HJS.

Now website has agreed to remove these denigratory pictures from their site.

Letter by Hindu Janajagruti Samati

Dear Sir,

Pls. refer a page displayed under your tantric website:

http://www.tantrictourists.com/Full_length_trailer.html

On the bottom area of this page, you may see distorted/customised pictures of our Hindu religion gods - Shri Ram Bhagwan ji, and Shri Shiv Shankar ji .

I am from Hindu Dharma (religion), and gods / goddess are highly respectable and worshiped in our religion.

By publishing such distorted pictures of Hindu Gods, you're hurting our religious sentiments. You do have some religious sentiments, which we or any other doesn't like to hurt/make fun.

Denigration details:

  • You have skinned Indian cricketer Dhoni on Prabhu lord Rama photo it means you're trying to make a human being comparable to Hindu Gods

The photo is drawn in stylish- unpleasant way.

  • Lord Shiva is wearing goggles - Lord Shiva does not wear goggles.

Inappropriate picture.

This is not tolerable action, and we would not allow you , to denigrate / customise / decorate pictures of highly respectable Hindu Gods.

If you don't want to put yourself into trouble, please please remove the customised/denigratory photos of Hindu Gods - Shri Rama ji & Shri Shiv Shankar ji .

If you wish to put correct & saatvik pictures of Hindu Gods, pls. Go to following website:

Hope you will understand, and do needful,

Response to the above Letter

Dear Sir

Thank you for your message concerning our website www.tantrictourists.com.

We take this matter with the utmost seriousness and have removed all representations of Indian deities and/or cricketers from our site.

It has never been our wish to cause any hurt, harm, denigration or disrespect to India, Hindus, Indian cricketers or in fact anybody with this film.  The film's ultimate message is in fact an homage to the beauty and power of Mother India and we are sad to think that we have upset anyone with our publicity.

We hope that you appreciate the speed with which we have dealt with this matter and that you understand that this alacrity is sign of our highest respect for your wishes.

With the greatest regard,

The Webmaster, Tantric Tourists.
