HJS makes the doctor to remove Deities' pictures fitted in his clinic

Why We must stop defamation of Hindu Deities?

Belgaum (Karnataka): Dr. Nayak, a dental surgeon had fixed tiled pictures of Deities in his clinic where his patients would keep their footwear. It was done to prevent the patients from spitting there. As members of Hindu Janajagruti Samiti (HJS) got the wind of it, they enlightened Dr. Nayak as to how denigration of Deities takes place due to the same and made him remove these tiles.

HJS members explained that fitting of Holy pictures at such place causes denigration of Deities. Dr. Nayak said that God is present everywhere. (If this is so, then in how many of his patients has Dr. Nayak seen God? Rather than coming up with intellectual reasoning on the topic, had Dr. Nayak had the feeling of bhav (spiritual emotion) towards the Deities, he would not have fitted their pictures at such place! – Editor SP)

He said, “I see God in my heart, you should not get entangled in idols or pictures. (Then why are such pictures used to prevent people from spitting leading to hurting their sentiments! – Editor SP) There is no altar in my house. (No Muslim would make a statement like this about his religion. It is due to the lack of Dharma shikshan among Hindus that Hindus like Dr. Nayak hold such views! – Editor SP)

The devout Hindus asked him whether he would agree to put photographs of his parents in the same spot. They warned him that action could be taken against him if a complaint was lodged for hurting religious sentiments of Hindus. Thereafter, he agreed to remove the pictures. (If the matter involved hurting religious sentiments of people following other religions, would anyone dare to argue in such a manner? There is no alternative left for Hindus but to unite to bring about change in this situation! – Editor SP)
