Jalgaon (Maharashtra): On behalf of Hindu Janajagruti Samiti (HJS), a separate women’s cell called ‘Ranaragini’ was inaugurated yesterday. The purpose of setting up such cell is –

1. To invoke ‘Dharmatej’ among young Hindu women

2. To impress upon them the gravity of their oppression

3. To maintain their self-respect and

4. To stop blind following Western Culture

The program started with the blowing of the conch, reciting Ganeshashloka and Shaktistavan. The program was held at the ‘Leva Boarding Hall’ at 4.00 p.m. in which Mrs. Aparna Ranteerthkar, the famous social worker and advocate, Mrs. Prachi Juvekar, the district-coordinator of ‘Ranaragini’ and Mr. Ramesh Shinde, the spokesperson of HJS guided the members of audience. “It must be explained to Hindu girls that Indian culture is ‘Yogavadi’ and not ‘Bhogavadi’ ” – Mrs. Aparna Ramteerthkar

Many Indian families are on the verge of ruin owing to blindly following western culture; but nobody is taking cognizance of how serious this issue is. Today, we find Hindu girls boldly flaunting their bodies in skimpy clothing. They are, in fact, encouraged by their parents to do so; but it is the duty of the mother to inculcate moral values in her daughter. The mother can mould her daughter. Now the Jalgaon Branch of ‘Ranaragini’ will make these girls see some sense. The girls will have to be explained that the Indian culture is one that is ‘Yogavadi’ (seeking enlightenment) and not ‘Bhogavadi’(seeking pleasures).

She said that the women, who do not devote even an hour for the cause of Dharma, have no right to even take the names of Rani Lakshmi or Ahilyabai Holkar. Every Hindu must have a ‘Tulsivrundavan‘ in his house. She had received an SMS from a woman who said that she would not send her daughter to a convent school as she had realised its adverse effects. She said that she was proud to be a Hindu.

‘It is a devious ploy to present history in a distorted and highly tampered with fashion which results in hiding the truth of what actually happened from Hindus’ –Mr. Ramesh Shinde

History is presented in a warped manner. It is propagated that the custom of ‘Sati (when a widow of a person who dies, sits on the pyre of her husband and sacrifices her life) was stopped by Raja Rammohan Rai. This custom has not been mentioned in any of the scriptures of Hindus. Also, the custom of child marriage was not in practice among Hindus. It is a ploy to hide the true history of Hindus and propagate distorted facts. It has been published in today’s ‘Times of India’ newspaper that Americans are very happily following the customs and traditions prescribed in Hindu Dharma but it is we Bharatiyas who are forgetting our great culture.

We shall know our Dharma, live our Dharma and become ‘Ranaragini’ for the protection of Dharma ! – Mrs. Prachi Juvekar

As per the science of Hindu Dharma, every woman has an element of Durga Devi within her; therefore, women can protect Dharma, create awareness towards Dharma and follow the customs and traditions as prescribed in Dharma in a better way. We women are ‘Chandikas’, ‘Mahishasuramardinis’. They should remember that they are ‘Ranaraginis’. Henceforth, Hindu women will not tolerate any kind of atrocities against them but they will very bravely squash such attempts. We are, therefore, inaugurating this ‘Ranaragini’ branch of HJS. Young girls and women will be trained in self-defense and in knowledge about Dharma through the medium of the various branches of ‘Ranaragini’. We will be undertaking drives to teach a lesson to the lustful and fanatic people who cast their evil eye on women. Now, we will take a vow that ‘We shall know Dharma, live Dharma and become ‘Ranaragini’ for the protection of Dharma
