It seems very unlikely that the former President of Pakistan, Parvez Musharraf might ever return to Pakistan. He is thinking about settling in London as he is scared to live in Pakistan. Musharraf was the chief of Pakistani Army. He deposed elected Pakistani Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif and grabbed the power. He then imposed emergency and deprived people of their fundamental rights. Pakistan’s Supreme Court has passed a verdict against Musharraf that such coercion was not only illegal but also un-constitutional and has asked Musharraf to return to Pakistan to undergo the sentence for his mistakes.

But Musharraf has declared that he would stay in London, whatever politics needs to be played by him, he would play from London and would return to Pakistan only at the right time. If Hindus and Muslims from Bharat ponder over the attitude shown by him, then their dream of coming together may come true someday.

Earlier, Benazir Bhutto, who had held the post of Prime Minister of Pakistan, not once but twice, had also run away from the country and stayed in London for a long time. This Musharraf invited her back with lot of assurance and insistence so she returned but within no time, she was assassinated. Why do Pakistani rulers not feel safe to live in their country once they lose the power and why do they run away to another country as fast as they can? It is because they do not know or believe in the concept of a country or a Nation. They only know to loot.

Muslims stayed in Bharat for so many centuries. Hindus treated them with so much of affection. But they had no affection for Bharat. They, in fact, demanded a separate Nation, Pakistan. It is, however, observed that they have no love even for Pakistan. If they had felt even little affection, Musharraf and Bhutto, who had enjoyed power, would not have run away to another country. Savarkar, in a concluding program of ‘Abhinav Bharat’ in the year 1952 had said that Congress had hatred for him even more than the British had but he would never advise his followers to do anything against Congress Government because although it was Congress, it was the Government of all ‘Bharatiyas’ and it was the duty of every ‘Bharatiya’ to cooperate with the first Government of independent Bharat and give it a chance to perform for the welfare of the Nation.

Nehru treated Savarkar very badly, he insulted Savarkar as much as he could; but still Savarkar never had the thought of leaving the country and spend the rest of his life peacefully somewhere else. It is because he treated this Nation like his mother and he would have never been able to think of leaving his mother. This is the difference between Hindus and Muslims.

For Hindus, India is their Motherland. They have no value even for heaven compared to their own Nation which is like their mother. But Muslims treat this land as ‘Bhog-bhumi’ and therefore, they do not feel anything to break Bharat into pieces. They are not even bothered about such pieces broken by them since they lose interest in it once they suck everything from the same. They then go on a new hunt. In such hunt, they run away when they feel their life is in danger. One can therefore, realize how difficult task it is to convert Muslims into loyal Bharatiyas and how much perseverance is required to accomplish this task.
