Congress must render apology: BJP

Mumbai: Hussain Dalawai, the spokesperson of NCP, while ridiculing the historic jump taken by Swatantryaveer Savarkar said, “What is so special in Savarkar's jumping off in water? (When Mumbai was flooded in the year 2005, Congressmen were hiding in their homes. Such people talking so disgracefully about the valour shown by Savarkar is like their spitting on the Sun ! Of course, Muslims with their history of ganging up against and killing Hindus, are bound to seethe with the bravery shown by a single Hindu like Savarkar! - Editor SP) What has he done for the country?” (Swa. Savarkar who was sentenced to 50 years of imprisonment for fighting for freedom of this country was the only such revolutionary. His stay in the jail was not smooth like that of Gandhi and Nehru, in fact, it was very laborious. Muslims, who did not shed even a drop of blood for this country, would naturally not know the value of Savarkar's sacrifice. - Editor SP) Hussain Dalawai and his party should own the responsibility and render apology to the people of this country. The above demand was made by Mr. Madhav Bhandari, the spokesperson of BJP.
