Unknown persons burnt the threads tied around banyan tree outside a church at Sambhajinagar on Vatpournima day, Christians under suspicion!
Sambhajinagar (Maharashtra): Hindu women had offered turmeric and vermilion (Kumkum) to banyan tree outside a church in the cantonment area while, worshipping it and they tied treads to the tree. After some days it was noticed that these threads were burnt completely.
When Hindus were questioned about it they said, “There are many banyan trees in cantonment area and some of them also were worshipped; but the threads of this tree only were burnt.” So a doubt is being expressed about the Christian Missionaries. Hindus in this area have protested against the incident. (O, Hindus !
