Representation submitted to District Collector at Thane under RHA

Thane (Maharashtra) :  Demonstrations were staged under aegis of ‘Rashtriya Hindu Andolan (RHA)’ on 9th January at Thane for the following demands.

  • Stringent legal action should be taken against so-called progressive factions breaking religious traditions followed at Shani Shingnapur
  • Curriculum of NCERT giving false and distorted information on Indian culture and using degrading language towards Saints of Maharashtra and Hindu Deities should be immediately changed
  • Enquiry should be conducted into atrocities against Kashmiri Hindus through setting up of Tribunal acknowledging genocide of Hindus and displaced Kashmiri Hindus should be permanently rehabilitated in an independent area.

Representation containing above demands was submitted on 12th January to Thane District Collector Dr. Sou. Ashwini Joshi who promised to send all demands mentioned in the representation to respective departments of the Government for necessary action. Smt. Sarangi Mahajan, the President of ‘Sara Foundation’, Sou. Supriya Gaikwad and Sou. Savita Lele of HJS were present on the occasion.
