Swami Vivekananda jayanthi celebrated by Bharat Hindu Munnai

Chennai : Bharat Hindu Munnai arranged a blood donation camp in the morning and notebook distribution function in the evening to celebrate the 153rd birth centenary of Swami Vivekananda at Choolai, Chennai on 10th January 2016. Around 50 children and 20 elders participated in the function. Sri.Radhakrishnanji from Shivsena, Sri. Sivakumar from All India Hindu people organization, Sou.Uma Ravichandran and Sri.Sriram Luktuke from Hindu Janajagruti Samiti (HJS) were invited as special guests.

Sri.Radhakrishnanji made his speech interactive with the children and made them recite small devotional hymns. Sou.Uma Ravichandran implored to the children to have Swami Vivekananda and Shivaji Maharaj as their ideals instead of cricket stars and cinema stars.

A momento was presented to HJS on the occasion. Sri.Radhakrishnanji presented a Sanatan Tamil panchang to Sri. R.D.Prabhu, Founder of Bharat Hindu Munnani. Sri.R.D.Prabhu participated in the function in spite of demise of his brother few days back.
