Advani to release report about black money

Bhopal: The BJP’s prime ministerial candidate, L K Advani said that he will release a report about Indian money in Swiss banks that should be brought back to the country for undertaking development work.

Addressing an election meeting in Bhopal, Advani said that the report, which he said he will release on Saturday, was prepared by a group of experts appointed by him to go into the issue.

He said that according to estimates, the Indian money in Swiss banks ranged from anything between Rs 25,000 lakh crore to Rs 75 lakh crore.

The BJP leader said that he had written to the Prime Minister, Manmohan Singh on the issue but he had done nothing about it.

In his speech he recounted the history of the BJP from the days of the Jan Sangh under the leadership of Shyama Prasad Mukherjee and said that the party had made strides because of its commitment to a strong and prosperous India.

BJP was determined to work in a manner which makes sure that the 21st century belongs to India, he said.
