Mumbai: Comprehensive discussion is possible on the option of giving life imprisonment to Afzal, expressed Central Home Minister, Shri. P. Chidambaram. (No one need be surprised for Talibans attacking Bharat to relieve Afzal and Kasab due to the opinion of Muslim favouring Congress of not implementing the punishment of hanging to death given to Afzal, the attacker of sovereignty of Bharat! – Editor)
He was speaking in the press conference at Gandhibhavan, office of Congress party. BJP had raised 7 questions before Congress in addition to the issue of Afzal’s punishment of hanging to death at the crucial time of election. Shri Chidambaram while answering the questions said further, “Life imprisonment is more severe for a prisoner than hanging him. He is 22nd one on the list of guilty. 3 have been already sentenced to death and suddenly to pick the 22nd one for the punishment would not be fair as it might be connected to religion. (Muslim lover Defence Minister is interested in getting Muslim votes at the cost of National security. If there had been a Hindu in that place, he would never have said like this; then where is the question of religion? – Editor)
He also accepted that there were discrepancies in exchanging the information regarding 26/11 terrorist attack due to lack in coordination between detective agencies in the Centre and the State. (Central Home Minister and Congress accepting the fact without feeling ashamed that discrepancies remain in the exchange of information when country would suffer an attack, would hand over Bharat in the hands of Taliban one day. So try to have government ruled by Hindutvawadi! – Editor)
